Haley Noel is currently based out of Richmond, VA. Born in Maryland and raised on a rural farm, working hard and playing hard are her two main states-of-being. Haley Noel is a choir girl turned singer-songwriter; she takes influence from Folk, Blues, Mountain Music and Bluegrass tunes. A queer, folky, femme ferverosa, Haley Noel's performances pair banjo with heartfelt and the poignant vocals which drive most of her originals. Banjo tunes ranging from wistful to downright danceable provide the backdrop for lyrics, in both Spanish and English, highlighting adventures of love, joy, and sadness with themes of admiration for the land, whiskey, and dancing throughout. Her latest release, Wanderings EP, showcases her vocal prowess and the banjo's musical versatility.
